I figure the politicians will threaten to do something with the Strategic Oil Reserve to "try" to do something about gas prices - or at least claim they're trying to do something about gas prices - as we lead into the election..
But, yeah, any "peak" we see this year will most likely just be exceeded by next year's peak.. and the one after that.. and the one after that.. etc, etc..![]()

They were reporting yesterday that people are getting comfortable with gas prices at this level. Don't know who in the hell they were talking to.
Noticed today, first-time unemployment claims went up 3.8 percent for the week. Several analysts put the blame on high fuel prices
