Naaaah, not at all. It's too early in the year for things to have peaked. Wait until school is out for summer and everyone hits the highways & byways for road trips! THEN we're likely to see it peak for a while..

fixed

I figure the politicians will threaten to do something with the Strategic Oil Reserve to "try" to do something about gas prices - or at least claim they're trying to do something about gas prices - as we lead into the election..

But, yeah, any "peak" we see this year will most likely just be exceeded by next year's peak.. and the one after that.. and the one after that.. etc, etc.. :uhoh:

They were reporting yesterday that people are getting comfortable with gas prices at this level. Don't know who in the hell they were talking to.

Noticed today, first-time unemployment claims went up 3.8 percent for the week. Several analysts put the blame on high fuel prices

I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?eo1val

Heading out thru New Mexico and Arizona and then to LA...with several side trips along the way.
Then up to Seattle in Washington State... then back across Idaho and up thru Montana, almost to the Canadian border and to Glacier National Park then down to Wyoming and to Yellowstone Park and the Grand Tetons, then on down thru Colorado and finally back home.

I am guessing about 500 gallons of fuel... :ohnoes:
Any price drop will help out...

It's the old adage of cooking a frog. If you throw him in the pot of boiling water, he'll jump right out. But put him in a pot of cold water on the stove, and turn on the heat, he'll never know :skull:

We are in a series of peaks. Might as well get used to it. It's not going anywhere but UP in the future, but we'll have small windows of "lower" prices to keep us feeding on the tit.
