I really just want access to the six speed. Not, I turn on the highway, floor it, and it feels like staying in the gear its in until it has to upshift.

Having the one in the Denali I had tuned made a world of difference in how that truck behaved and performed. After I traded it in, I remembered that I hadn't reset everything. I went back to the sales manager and offered to do that for him. He said, "NO! Leave it the way it is! I love it! We can get it redone later if we need to!"
