So since the long tube headers of course my check engine light came on. It seems to be running a bit sluggish now that the lights on is this possible? My jetta was re-ended last weekend so it's in the shop for 2 weeks and I have to drive my truck. Is there anything I can do to retune with blackbear without sending in my ECM?

Alright I'll have to do that then. Will ya'll still be able to have my shift patterns firm, AFM off and delete my rear o2's and tune it without testing or anything?

I think first is to see what the DTC is, then go from there. Running lean would indicate an exhaust leak.

A tune or retune is a good idea.

What is the process for the new PCM? is it just a turn key method?

You will more than likely have to have a crank relearn performed.

Your options would be to:

-send in your current computers to be updated
-pay double shipping: we send out loaner computers, you send in yours to be updated. When you return the loaner computers, you will be refunded the core charge
-find someone with a Tech II or similar to perform the relearn for you
-purchase an AutoCal and have all your tunes and updates emailed to you: don't have to worry about crank relearn

IMO, get the autocal. You can do some logging and Justin can tweak in your tune.

Don't mean to threadjack, but if I buy the Autocal for $269 since I already have an in person tune, does that price include the license or is that still another $125? :dunno:
