If you get a quad cab (like mine) you get a full sized bed. If you get the newer crew cab you lose bed space.

The QC is not huge by no means but a adult can sit back there confertably.

Bed sizes on the Mega Cab are the same as the Quad Cab far as I can tell. The frame is longer on the Mega Cab if I'm not mistaken.

I met a guy once who extended his frame to fit a longbed on his mega cab, and DAMN was that a long truck.

the mega cab short bed has the same frame as a Quad Cab long bed but instead of extra bed space it has extra cab space

Bed lengths are different as might be frames. One more than the other. I'm unclear as to which one, but it is absolutely one of them. Don't hold me to that though, it could always be the other one. Sometimes I get confused.
