Scotty, is it possible to have the noise, even when everything is wired correctly with high-quality wiring?

Is it ever possible to truly need an isolator as the only option?
You shouldn't ever *have to* use a noise filter, IMO. If your wiring and connections all check out, you might just have a defective amp or headunit.

Does your headunit or amp use the cheap RCA jacks that are supported solely by the circuit boards that they are soldered to? If so, the solder could have cracked and caused this problem. I'm not saying that's your problem, it's just a possibility.

Replaced a dead bulb in my fog HID's and the sound went away.
