I wouldn't doubt the new GNX to come with a transversely-mounted V6 and AWD like the Opel Insignia OPC which is built in the same platform.

Same platform? They said the GNX will be on Alpha with the ATS, NG CTS, and NG camaro, etc. Insignia is Epsilon 2 with the Malibu, Regal,...

I like the fact they might be throwing the LT-1 into the mix but I don't know if I like the turbo 6 to be the lesser of the engines.

I could be reading what you said wrong, but, the GN was a V6 Turbo. why would you not like that to be the case is the gen 2 version?

I could be reading what you said wrong, but, the GN was a V6 Turbo. why would you not like that to be the case is the gen 2 version?
What I meant was why have the big dog be a V8 and not the TTV6 if they are going the GN route. I agree, with the big dog sticking to the TV6 roots.
