Well everyone I am back from a hell of a weekend of racing. It was very hot and humid the whole weekend. So lets start with qualifying. I qualified #1 for the weekend, that was good. Saturdays race was 8 rounds of hell running in the heat. But the bike held up better then I did. I was beat at the end of the day. But it made it better when I got to the final round and pulled a .002 reaction on the tree and ran the numbers with a 1.60 60' and took the win from the other guy. :) So that tied me with the most consecutive wins in a 5 year period with 27. Sunday morning came and I was up ready to go. Day wasn't as bad as sat but still pretty hot. Had 6 rounds this day as a few riders left cuz of the heat. So once again went to the finals, bike was running great all day. Finals came around and I was lined up against the #2 qualifier. Once again I cut a good light on the tree, .003 reaction time. Then about 30 feet out started to spin the tire. Got it to hook up again and ran him down but it was not enough. :( Lost my first race by 0.017. So I only tied the consecutive streak record at 27. But I have a lead of 22 points over second place with 2 races left. So it wasn't a bad weekend after all.

Congrats on the near perfect run, some guy's run 30 plus years, and never get that close, a friend in Super Comp. nailed a Robin Hood...hell, it was better than the actual win!!!!

He nailed a .000 light, and ran 8.900, he framed the slip!

UPDATE:

Well this Saturday is the final race of 2010. I have been busy working on the bike for the big day. I say big day because the last race two weeks ago I missed and am now two points behind for the lead in points. :frustration: So this sat I am gonna run the bike as hard as I can. For me to win the championship I need to break my track reacord and win the race. So almost every night I have been working on the bike when I can. Even had it on the dyno for some cool weather tuning. Found a few extra ponies too.:naughty: So I guess I will see what I can do.
