Tell me about it. I rarely shop there, but on a very very rare occasion they will actually have something I need that O'reilly's doesn't.

When I was in college I managed a privately owned parts house and repair shop. We used to love to call the Autozone right across the street and ask them for things like a ...Thermostat for a 66 vw beetle.

They would look for ever before coming back on the phone and saying it was a dealer item. :rollin:

I bought a brand new VW Beetle in 1966...right after I got out of the service.
We were going from Houston to Laredo and stopped for fuel.
This was when stations were FULL SERVICE.
This was the first Beetle that he had seen close up.
The old guy wanted to check the radiator and I told him it didn't have one.
He said ALL CARS had to have a radiator...maybe I just didn't know where it was.
He looked for it for the whole time the tank was filling up, and was about half pissed at me because I wouldn't tell him where the radiator was. :D :D

THESE DAYS, I could see you telling the guy where the engine compartment was and then getting out to watch him not find what he was looking for. "Well, it's gotta be in there somewhere, right??"

Oh...believe me...I did that.
Opened the back "HOOD" and showed him the engine.
He looked and looked and "NEVER DID" find that radiator. :rollin: :rollin:

My OEM blades have been great... but the truck only has 14K on the clock and sits in the garage all the time. That and we have had almost ZERO rain in the last two years. Are the PIAA blades a direct fit?

Since August 2007, San Antonio has rec'd 24.38" ... the driest 23 month spell ever. Not "almost ZERO", but probably seems like it....

The problem is that most of that came in the form of worthless half inch showers that evaporated as fast as they came down. It's a sad situation here. I sure hope Fall brings rain. Hell, we've even been sort of "hoping" for hurricanes (but we don't want anybody getting their stuff damaged).

There are not a lot of choices out there for the GMT900. I found this out recently. I too have the Bosch blades and O'reillys was the only one that had them around here.

Autozone idiots said they couldn't even get them. They said it was a dealer item. The O'reilly guys had to do some digging, but found some for me. They were about $30 a piece, but good blades are worth it.
My passanger side blade was fine, but the drivers side had a torn area right in the stinking middle.:fume:

I certainly hope so as I paid about the same for mine a couple months ago...
