i fWONk my truck in every terrain, sand ,rock, pavement,,, you name it.
no prblems at all from the G80...my truck reads 90,000kms almost 57k miles.
and if you saw my truck in real life, you would know what fWONking my truck means

no problem with the diff just a littel oil leak from the pinion seal and it stoped added oil, and no probs!

never the less. if i had the chance to swap it for a 9.5... i wont hesitate.
actually iv found some one who would do all the work for 1100$ and he'll take my old 10 bolt.
just dont want to rush on paying for the 9.5 befor i finish all my work on the motor/suspinson/looks.

but if it did snap any time soon i wont pay a dime on it.

btw , as i've seen on many 10 bolts here.
ones you change the oil,,,the problem starts

we had 2 10 bolt truck an 05 avalanch,and an 08 tahoe.
they were running good untill we changed the oil...and we changed it at the dealer's quick service with GM/acdelco oil
then both trucks snaped, changed gears on em twice each..problem continus...all oof them are practicly stock

The g80 in my Blazer was on its way out... It wasn't locking very effectively...
Changing the oil in it brought it back a bit... But it was still on the way out.
