Personally I would get a LBZ. Nothing wrong with the LMM if you get rid of the DPF, which you said you would.

I'm not planning on and hardcore mudding, if any at all...




I've never once thought to myself, "man I wish my z71 was 2wd", but I have thought the opposite.

Especially in Canada.


If my 2WD open diffed S10 can plaow through 1 - 2 feet of snow, I think a 3/4 - 1 ton can handle it :lol:

I'll probably end up with a 4x4, because I won't find a 2WD :(

The LMM is basically a LBZ with a DPF and different tuning to accommodate the emission stuff. Once you remove the DPF and tune the ECM to not go into "regen" mode, there is hardly any difference.
