ah i see, but either way its nice. I love mine, and in all honesty i think i'd rather drive it more than a newer one. You sacrifice luxury but to me, i've driven both and i just like mine

Worst idea of my life was selling mine. Well next to sleeping with that chick with lice but that was completely different. My 97 had a smoother ride than my 10 does but I'm betting it will settle down in a few more thousand miles. My 97 also had all the options, my 10 has none so I really had more luxuries in that 'ole girl.
At work we still have a few GMT-400's running around (most are 98's and the original trucks the company bought.) We retire them at 300K and none have gone early due to engine or tranny failure and these trucks are running around overweight at all times. We sold one to our mechanic a while back that he still drives daily that was somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 when we sold it. You can't kill 'em.

wow thats pretty amazing. In my opinion trucks these days- all brands really- are getting too luxurious. Luxury is nice, but theres a point to where there's just too much

I agree. Especially with the cars that can parallel park themselves. Like come on, if people can't parallel park themselves they shouldn't drive.
