Well... I am a member of a secret TYPO society. Let's just say that it is somewhat like Tae Kwon Do but not exactly.

Yeah I was going to do it about a couple months back... I was talking to Mike(McDiver) when he had his truck in the shop getting painted and he was going to have the guy there do it for me...

I think some black dupli color and clear will do fine! Thats what 1 coat would look like... I think that I might do 2-3...

I also need to install my white locking tailgate handle... Does anyone know how that will work since it was not a standard option? Do I need to go to the dealer and get a new bolt for the latch so that I can use my key or with the locking tailgate is there a separate key?

The GM locking tailgate sets itself to your key the first time you use it. You don't have to take it anywhere. That's for the OEM version, not the aftermarket type.
