It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Yet they don't plan on building it. :dunno:

Thanks for nothing, GM.

Oh, and is it just me or does a Denali-level interior just seem out of place on something like this? How about just a nice interior that fits the purpose and helps keep the cost away from the 70K range?

Daddy beat me to it.

 :lame:

Oh, and the front is hideous. :puke:

It looks like a bastardized first-gen Escalade/Yukon.

I thought Ridgeline when I first saw it.

It's a stupid truck...GM doesn't need a JC Whitney special. They need to focus all of their time/money/effort on making the 1/2 tons continue their trend of the best 1/2 tons out there. I'm hoping for a gas version of their phenomenal exhaust brake and other innovative ideas that are practical and worth paying extra for.

You don't have to wait until the 2011 Detroit Auto Show for a closer look at the forthcoming GMC Sierra All-Terrain HD concept. That's because our friend Mike Levine and his PickupTrucks.com camera managed to get up close with the rugged rig, going on a guided tour with Lead Designer Carl Zipfel.

PickupTrucks.com was kind enough to shoot not one, but two videos while in the presence of the fingers-crossed-they-build-it concept truck. Hop the jump to view both of them.

I kind of like the idea of the full under-body protection.. I wonder how much of a pain it would be to get that stuff off, to work on it, though? :dunno:
