Also, the Ford 6.2 may look good on paper, sound bad azz in person but it is NOT a work horse.

This is the best truck. Period. Everyone who does not agree is an idiot and should GKYs.

Troof! Can't beat FWD unibody packaging and an AWD system that can send power to the rear up to a blistering speed of 18mph. Not to mention the tailgate opens both down and sideways!

It doesn't take a genius to see that the current generation GM pick-up trucks are an abomination. Some of you drinking that GM kool-aid might deny it, but even GM doesn't. They are working their asses off to stay competitive with Ford and RAM at the moment. I have only seen about 4-5 new GM pick-up trucks in my area since they went on sale. Everything else is dominated by Ford and RAM. Who would've thought RAM would make a better truck than GM (aesthetically and mechanically)?

I'll leave you guys with two interior pictures from top of the line Ford and GM trucks. One debuted in 2008, and the other, 2013. Which looks dated?

Gotta love how they ditched their "simple" and "car-like" interiors for a more boxy and truck like design from none other than Ford.:loser:

Hi Jas!

What have you been up to these days?

That photo is a new Silverado LTZ...it looks like a cartoon abomination, even next to the Ford which hasn't seen a major redesign in years.

We all get that you love GM Brian...that doesn't mean everyone else HAS to agree with you. Long-winded rants aimed at anybody who doesn't bow down to the bowtie are not helping change minds, nor are they going to draw or keep new members to this site. Worship your brand on your own time, and quit beating everyone else up with it.
Equally so, what is more damaging to a site is when an individual or individuals post continually about outlandish claims of a manufacturer being "crappy" or "poor" when there is no denying that all of the truck manufacturers here have equal amount of issues. What it comes down to is preference in style and drive train.

I will say there are a few people who post and continually bait and call out a certain brand, I have been guilty too. If you guys who do so, may not be adequate as members here.

I apologize for any of my pasts post that find me guilty of this. I know now(probably always, just not on forums ) that any vehicle "can" treat you well or cost you deeply. Its life.

If someone wants to bitch and moan, they are entitled to their opinions but be proactive about making your purchase so we don't have to hear about it. There are a lot of people out there who might love to have the truck you are complaining about. Be thankful for what you have because next month, you might be driving a Prius or Civic.

Anyone who thinks Dodge, ford or Chevy is crap or poor manufacturer displays this most amount of stupidity.

Sorry for my fanboisms but I got roots in GM and lots of them. They employ a lot of people in America as does Ford and Dodge/fiat. America would not be right without one of them.

You wanna buy mine?

Seriously.

Low miles (52K), upgraded ball joints and brake rotors.

Just needs PS lines (leaky) and whatever is causing an intermittent squeal in my engine bay (likely a bearing in the alt or AC). It's not real loud yet, can't hear it unless you are stopped next to a wall or in a garage with the window open.

and just FYI Brian, my opinion of GM is not solely based on my experience with this truck. Like I stated earlier, I have seen the quality decline over my last 3 GMC trucks, as well as de-contenting, cost cutting, etc.

My wife's 2004 Impala was a complete lemon also.

GM has been cutting costs at the expense of quality since well before they went bankrupt.

The recall fiasco is further evidence of this.

as a lifelong GM owner..i can honestly say that with the exception of maybe aused C7 Z06 in a few years, I doubt I will ever buy another one...unless i see a dramatic change in their quality. I am not holding my breath.

I predict GM will go out of business within the next 10 years anyway...no more bailouts next time they fail.
