Yeah, that's why I completely overlooked Kia & Hyundai when I was shopping this last time.. I'm not saying they aren't good cars.. But "better" is a relative term. :lol:

Truth be told, I mis-read your first post about the 2500 w/ the 8.1. I thought you said "if" you could get one that way, not that you liked that they had offered 'em that way..

I do think it was cool that GM at least offered it that way. Let the market decide whether or not it succeeds. I think too many vehicles and vehicle styles are overlooked for this market "because 30 yrs ago, we tried xyz-whatever-thing and it didn't work. So, the market says we shouldn't do it..." :dunno:

Personally, I never saw the "point" in the Avalanche, since GM already had crew-cab, short bed trucks.. They did at least get a little more attractive in the later years. :thumbs:
