Never really liked the idea of the fold down stuff between the bed and cab. Seems like it would just lead to more rattles. I will say that I've always like the Tahoe front end more than the Silverado one.

The only thing I like about the current Avalanche is the front end. I still think Chevy should have used that front end on ALL their 1500's.

Not surprised it's being killed though, the overall look is just not real appealing, far too much plastic trim on the exterior. Overall though, the idea of the truck was pretty cool IMO.

The New Avalanche is not a bad looking rig. The biggest problem has been that it really doesn't have a place in the market, considering the crewcab half ton and Tahoe/Suburban offerings that Chevy has already.
