I had a Suzuki Sidekick (same as the tracker) for 12 years and could not kill that sucker. I treated it like crap, it was the most dependable thing I ever had... I know they say they flipped, but you would have to be acting like a moron to do so, as I drove the snot out of it and it never flipped, always started, great on gas. Mine was a 5 speed... replaced the tires at 75k the starter at 65k otherwise maintenance as usual ( I am ashamed to admit that it went 20k without an oil change once)... I was even hit head on by a drunk driver in that thing and walked away. They fixed it and it was good as new. I sold it 5 years ago for $500 wish I hadn't.
I was a manager for Enterprise rent A Car and they used those Geo Metros as their compact cars, base model 3 cylinder job... we wouldnt pull them out of fleet until almost 100k they were so reliable. The prisms were awesome too in the 90s. Like someone said a Corolla
