I just got off the phone with Ron at Ron's Machining Services and my 4.11 Yukon gears and a Tru-Trac along with master install kits are on the way. Ordered my inch pound bar style torque wrench from Randy's Ring and Pinion last night so by the weekend all of my stuff should be here to start the regearing.

If you're in the market for gears give Ron a call or look at his stock on the website at
http://www.ronsmachiningservice.net/servlet/StoreFront

He carries gears for all brands.

Thanks to the OT I worked this past week the gears came along a little quicker than I originally planned. 56 hours OT in a week is pretty nice , especially since I am normally on salary.

You must be feeling lucky if you're going to be doing the install.

Good luck and looking forward to the results!

I've done my fair share of gear installs in the past, I have never done one of these IFS front diffs before. But it's all nuts and bolts, shouldn't be a big deal as long as I double check all the specs. I ran across a new method of preloading the pinion bearing so I'm gonna do that method, that's why I ordered the special torque wrench. Hell I ain't scared, I have a brand new truck to drive now.

I just dumped $920 on gears, install kits, axle bearings and seals and the tru-trac. So saving a few hundred having someone else install them is good for me. Plus I have the time to do it now since I got the new truck. I don't have to rush anything, the install should go smooth and the break in process should go smooth too.
