Im planning on doing a full length autometer triple gauge pod for the pillar, I like the look of the gauges there the best. I hate the look of the pillar pods that are half length, they look too tacked on.

I agree with that. Surely somebody makes one that doesn't look glued on.

Well autometer for sure makes one that is full length but I don't know how it attaches and how smooth it looks once done. Its about 55-60 bucks everywhere I look too. Is it just me or does that seem like a lot for a plastic pod?

Use Dupli-Color paints and do the best you can to match the color. They may even offer the color if you search their site.

Here's the link to the site that I got the mount from. Billet gauge mount.

You can get the mount with or without switches and they run $125 regardless of the configuration. They don't supply any mounting hardware with the mount either, so you'll need to fabricate a couple of L shaped brackets and buy a couple of 1/4-20 screws. This is what I did.

Thanks much! Kinda sucks they don't include mounting hardware with it...I will check it out though and bookmark it and have it in the future! Thanks again

Also is yours the Brushed Aluminum or the Polished? Guessing polished but curious.
