I've been knocked down drug out and left for dead
I filled up yesterday. I drove 372 miles on 26 gallons of gas, which gives me 14.3 mpg.

34.8 mph on my new civic! The hoe gets about 14 mpg with the 5.3 and the astro gets about 17 mpg. mostly city driving with the two chevs but a 50/50 mix for me.

Why buy new when you can restore?
17.2mpg -- The best I've gotten since I drove it home from buying it and the best with my BB tune. This was also the first time I have driven it like I didn't have a tune.

21.38 mpg today, 311.9 miles and took 14.588 gallons
so i took about a 100km round trip after work today, truck claims to have averaged 17.9 US MPG, driving was mixed, starting and ending with 80km/hr (50mph) country roads and then the rest hiway, with a 4km river valley crossing (hiway). i drove like my foot was wrapped in needles. 
pretty exceptional i say, not very fun to drive though. for fun i took it to 75mph (to check for exhaust drone.
) and dropped the hammer, i`m not sure which gear it dropped to but damn lifted the front of the truck and took the fwonk off! i was up 140+k in seconds!
this thing needs a tune.... throttle respose could be better.

HorsePower- if it don't scare ya it aint enough
with my foot around 14.5. but i have gotten up to 18.5 mixed city/highway
only gonna get worse with more upgrades though so idc

My last tank of gas was just over 425 miles and the "Computer" indicates about 18.8 MPG for my 07 Sierra Extended cab 5.3.

when i was romping through town i got around 10, but now its in the 12-13 range town wise. get between 14-15 highway, all using 93 octane. thats with crappy 3.73 gears with my 35's. cant wait to regear to 4.88's.

My first three tanks since leaving on vacation were all 20mpg...all three had ETHANOL.
Next tank..."WITHOUT ETHANOL"...was 22.7
Next tank, also "WITHOUT ETHANOL" was 22.5
Next one "WITH ETHANOL" but driving a little slower was 21.
Will have to fill up again today.
