Fred II gets a new grille!

Installed the Carriage Works Billet Grille a while back. The overall install probably took an hour and 20 minutes. I took a lot of extra time trimming and smoothing plastic edges that nobody will ever see (but it makes me happy to know it was done right).

Here are the peektures.

The initial disassembly is a piece of cake. Take your time and it's really easy. I'd recommend a second set of hands when removing the front fascia and grille assembly... just to keep from possibly scratching anything. Carriage Works provides installation instructions with pictures... but they are SMALL. You need to have at least some idea what you are getting into.

This could have been done a LOT faster but I spent a lot of time smoothing the cuts and edges

I like the result. It really seems to fit my truck well

Changed the looks of the truck quite a bit. I'd have to see it in person.

there is akit available for the ford edge which looks pretty good like that setup, has grille and the two little one in the bumper... i reeeealy want to get it put on the wifes edge to make it different from the hundreds of other ones rolling around here.

Looks good Jim! I am a bit hesitant to do this for a couple of reasons
1. I want to be able to return my truck to stock if I absolutely have to and I don't really want to cut up my grille
2. I don't know if I want to debadge my truck 100%. Someone might get it mixed up with a CHEVY

Easy fix.

1. Buy a used grille off of Ebay. People sell them when they replace theirs and the OEM grilles go pretty cheap.
2. You only live once.
