I'm "nobody" to Rob...
Looks naked... needs a cover of some sort.
Although im not a huge fan (for functionality purposes), I think a painted-to-match cover would go great.
....and it might just be me, but get rid of the chrome mirror covers and either make them match the black plastic or color match em too

I'm happy with the chrome level. A bed cover might happen. We'll see.

I like the looks with the shell a lot, but a nice bed cover would look even better.
Not to agree with rooster, but a nice low profile soft cover may be a nice option. You could hang on to the shell and get a TruXedo lo pro QT. They install and uninstall very quickly.
