spark plug issues and lousy fuel economy. Tell him to look for a 7.3 powerstroke truck.

You betcha
That V10 is sad. I thought a cammed lousy tuned LS2 in a 4800lb SUV giving 15/12 was bad

OK, Ford guy here, V10, lots of torque, pass everything except a gas stating, older model's know for spitting spark plugs...
The KR in this picture, while a nice truck, the interior has been neglected, the leather seats in all KR's require special attention, and are very high maintenance, notice the center stain look in the drivers seat, along with the dry look around the outside edge...this is why Ford has changed the leather in the new 2011 KR's, to many complaints about the up keep on the leather, and its not cheap......IMO, I would pass on this truck, due to the V10 alone, and the KR leather is the icing on the cake....my 2 cents!!

My old boss had an '05 CCSB KR F350 with the V10, and averaged 9.8. Driving an almost identical route to work in my truck, I averaged 16.

Dan, I am sure this one gets way better mileage. Just look at the size of the wheels, tires, and lift.

My dad has one and hates it. It gets 10 MPG or less loaded, pulling a gooseneck, or empty. Hes also had the infamous ford spark plug ejection.

On my buddy's, he went through the "repair" for this, I beleive it involved inserts, then the damn thing kept overheating and had to buy new heads anyway.

Expensive damn repair!
