Yes, the 9005/9011 HIR bulbs easily match 35-watt HIDs IMO.x2 !!If you can run 9005 bulbs in your fogs, though, look into the Toshiba HIR bulbs!

From what I've read on HIDPlanet, the catz voltage boosters work GREAT with these things... Since for optimum light output, they need to heat up
The only halogen that comes close is the Silverstar Ultra's.... And they don't last along.

They're not built in... they're aftermarket transformers that step the voltage to the lights up to like 16 or 18 volts or something...![]()
