I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this, but on the GMT-400's why can you not flash you lights without having your low beams on? Like when your at a stop sign and 2 other people pull up at one time, just a quick flash to let them know, and you have to have your low beams on, you can't even flash with the parking lights on either.
Has anybody bypassed this some how, or do you have any ideas on how to go about this?

Let me know what you guys think about this

It might be because the high beams are the DRL's on the 400s, usually... :dunno:

But I think they should still flash, if you pull the stick all the way and lock the highbeams on, at the very least...

When I drove my buddies '93, I thought you could flash 'em as long as you didn't pull the lever back far enough for it to click. :dunno:

The low beams are the DRL's.

DRL's on a 400? I had a '91 and it did NOT have DRL's. When did the 400's start using DRL's?
