1977 Old's Cutlass, black, 350 Old's rocket motor, that I put a crane fire ball cam in, with a 650 CFM Holly, bought it when I was 19, and serving in the US Army, car hauled ass too...wish I still had it, last time I saw it, the cowl hood scoop had been ripped off it, and the sun roof was broken, and all the wheels were missing...:(..it was a fun car, turned heads where ever I went.

I bought my first car in 69 using the money I saved as down payment delivering Newspapers on a bicycle for 4 years.

The parents helped by co-signing a loan for me. I got a 69 VW bug, light blue, with a dark blue interior. I ran the shit out of it, and it never let me down. I took it places 4WD trucks would hesitate to go.:D

The VW Beetle is really die-hard. Dad had a deep-blue one when I was a baby. I have even considered to get one as my first motor vehicle but dad came with a Honda XLX 350-R and I've got it. Now waiting for the Mitsubishi, that still has some register issues.

First car was February 27th 2002 my dad handed down his 94 Saab 9000 CSE. Still the nicest car I've ever owned but I beat the hell out of it so bad it went to hell that summer, then got a 99 Ford Escort ZX2 with the 2.0 and a 5 speed and let me tell you couldn't hold a candle to you old guys and your muscle cars but in the modern day that thing had a little pep for a tiny 4 banger.

My first car was my high school which is a 1967 mustang that I got in 1981. I have had 3 different trucks but I still have the mustang and will not sell it.

It was in 1960...

My first car ... that I actually bought myself, was a '50 Ford convertible...
I took it to Mexico and had it painted with 8 coats of BLACK LACQUER...
Had the interior... including all the door panels covered in white and gold leather and had a new white top put on it.
It was lowered all the way around with fender skirts and a Continental Kit.
 :rollin:

It was WAY COOL at that time... back in the day...

My truck, got it 2 months before I turned 17. I can't believe I've had the damn thing over 4 years already, it doesn't feel like it was that long ago at all.

Yep .. there are a few of us that have been around for a while...
Some of the members PARENTS weren't even born yet, when I got my drivers license..
I got my license in 1958...

I wish I did have pictures of it.
It was a really nice car and the first one I bought with my own money.

Before that, I had drove Dad's cars...
first a 58 Impala with the 348 Tri Power...
then a '59 Ford with the retractable Hardtop,
then a '60 Pontiac Bonneville with the 389 and Tri Power.

Dad liked fast cars....
