I hate the different color hood look... unless it's incorporated into a complete paint scheme. The carbon fiber ricer gay boy hood look is just awful.

Umm, the hood color is incorporated into the rest of the paint.

It's different. I kind of like the fact that they're not doing some botched-remake of a '69 this, mixed with a '72 that, with a little '73 something else...

That's not a perfect example, but If I'm gonna spend three grand on wheels and tires I want to be able to tell they are on there beyond 10 feet. As far as sports cars go... not everybody wants to look like they came out of a transformers movie.

There are SOME cars and SOME trucks that look good with black wheels. It's a really polarizing issue.
