Expedition Console swap my way

Alot of guys with 97-03 f150's swap in buckets and an expedition/navigator console for a flow through etc. well im doing the same but my way . since i have a manual there have been some modifications to be made.

heres where im at. i have the console mounted minus the top portion that i have yet to cut up since im unsure about what im going to do with it and my shifter.

whats been cut so far and made to fit with no issues.

onto the plans. it will get a 2 tone black/grey theme. with sides grey and top black. im also gonna wrap the lid in fresh black leather with some custom embroidery work done by a family friend.

heres what im thinking for now.

let me know what you think about the lid and any ideas for what to put on it.

When you pull back on the shifter, how close does it come to the lid?

Time to hit up a boneyard for a shift boot and possible top transplants. I love making stuff nobody else has.

thanks so far. i can get a custom boot made up easily but im still trying to decide on if i want to look into making a custom shifter or just using this one and cutting out the top part to fit which it will easily.

shanks these are from before it was mounted and just mocked in with out brackets so its moved some but they give an idea

heres some shots i took this morning. mind you the console is not in its final position as it will move forward some and to the left slightly

Your putting it in the bed of the truck... Gonna be hard to reach the steering wheel and shift

thanks guys. theyre really comfortable and i have the matching back seat but if it would ever stop raining here long enough i could put the rest of them in

Looks good. Are those heated seats as well? Nothing like a hot ass on a cold winter morning.
