Holy crap! I'm betting on a fuel leak. Glad it was no worse than it was Cole.

aw that sucks! I have a little crappy fire extinguisher I keep in the truck just in case. Sometimes I wonder if it's really enough to even do anything though.

They claim it has enough juice for a 5-8 second spray.

Good fortune was looking out for you to have the guy show up with the fire extinguisher.

Fire extinguisher in the truck and will be getting one in the Mustang this week.

That sucks, glad it isn't too bad and no one got hurt.

Work gave everyone an automotive fire extinguisher...I just have no idea where to put it without it rattling around.

i got it all fixed up on friday (fire was on monday) and oil was shooting out of the oil pressure gauge line. i mean it was a solid stream, and only running about 10 seconds it sprayed out about half a quart, so im positive that, that is how it started, then caught the airfilter and that melted the fuel line. so going electric on the gauges so it doesnt happen again, i have never been a fan of mechanical gauges, especially oil

It does seem odd to have oil being pumped under the dash for the gauge, but they say it is more accurate. :dunno:
