So to get it all straight we all agree with hd hood, PTM bumper cap, valence , mirrors, door handles. along with oem flares no badges molding or pinstripe. and a z71 tahoe black grille? Correct?

This. But if you are thinking about having a little more chrome then only paint part of the grille black (Like Dan's truck has right now but instead of pickle green it'd be black). That'd look pretty sick.

Ehhh thats basically how the stock silvy grills were
I'd go with that as my first choice. Yes, the "webbing" is already gray, but PTM'ing it would make it blend in so much better. And yes, it is a lot of work, but it's worth it.

 @ me making you rethink the grill

My bowtie has been painted for a year now, but it didn't see the winter. It has been through a few high-pressure car washes.

Prep is key!

In that case do it like this minus the mirrors.

In that case, just get an OEM grill again (much better quality and chrome-job than aftermaket). I still think that would look just fine.

Not to mention that this route would save a ton of money at the body shop.

Sorry, I'm not trying to. I didn't know those were the options. I'll see what the Tahoe grill is you speak of.

Is it this?
