If you are referring to the Valance that I have, its an 06 Burban LTZ Valance. There was no Tahoe LTZ until the 07 Gmt900 body style. And the 06 was the only year the Gmt800 Suburban had the LTZ trim package. Its the same exact Valance as the 00-06 Z71 Tahoes and Suburbans, but its black instead of gray.

I totally forgot about the HD hood swap! That was on the '01-02 trucks only, right? I don't think the "HD" came out until '01 when the GMT400 production ended.
DO IT!!! All you swap is the hood (lights and grill are the same).
And I agree with Kyle on PTM-ing the entire mirror, not just the cap.
