OEM flares, no body molding (if you do want molding, go with the GMC bullet style), paint the handles, mirror caps, bumper cap, and get the black LTZ Tahoe valance, no bug guard, no pinstripe, or any badges.

Agreed, but I'd keep the Z71 sticker.

If you are referring to the Valance that I have, its an 06 Burban LTZ Valance. There was no Tahoe LTZ until the 07 Gmt900 body style. And the 06 was the only year the Gmt800 Suburban had the LTZ trim package. Its the same exact Valance as the 00-06 Z71 Tahoes and Suburbans, but its black instead of gray.

Black, textured plastic, little round foglights. Buy it, Elliot. :D

 If you ask them at the dealer, just say it for a 2006 Burban with the LTZ package, so they don't get confused.

Do work son!! I agree with whats been said, but go fully painted mirrors, bumper cap and lower valence.

I can't believe nobody has suggested an HD hood? I think an HD hood would look great. If you copy this truck it = WIN!!

I totally forgot about the HD hood swap! That was on the '01-02 trucks only, right? I don't think the "HD" came out until '01 when the GMT400 production ended.

DO IT!!! All you swap is the hood (lights and grill are the same).

And I agree with Kyle on PTM-ing the entire mirror, not just the cap.

You are correct on the part about the HD front end only being on the 01-02 trucks. You are also correct about the lights being the same. The bumper and lower valance is also the same. The grill and upper bumper cap however is NOT the same. The pic Kyle posted is not a true HD truck, just a 1500 with an HD hood(or else a regualr 2500 but not a 2500HD) Here is a pic of an actual 01 2500 HD for reference. The HD hood will fit a 1500 truck and lines up with the 1500 grill.
