Do the ScanGauges have manifold pressure? (boost psi)
I can survive with a close enough pyro. There are 3 things I like to have (well 4) on a diesel when i am judging performance. Years in the dyno room spinning them up after building them has engrained some habits
-Manifold Pressure
-Pyro (EGT)
-Fuel Pressure
-Fuel filter restriction/delta
I don't want to junk up the cab of my truck. Just want a simple way to get these, if I can.
1200 on the pyro seems crazyI have built some hot rods that would run that, full load, but I knew they would be back next year for new kits
When I was an apprentice, one of the sayings my favorite journeyman always screamed at me was "999 is fine, but at 4 digits your mine!" trying to get me to tune engines keeping them under 1000 degrees on the pyro
I agree about not wanting to junk up the interior. That's what's kept me from buying one of these yet. The grab handle on the 15/16s makes it hard to do a clean mount over there. Ideally, I think I'd like the screen to be just above the brake controller over there. One really clean mount for the CTS2 is available from proformance diesel, but I'm not sure I want it down that low:
I just found that there is apparently there is a smaller "Insight CS" that doesn't display as many parameters at once. I need to look at that and see if if can be mounted subtly.
