Do the ScanGauges have manifold pressure? (boost psi)

I can survive with a close enough pyro. There are 3 things I like to have (well 4) on a diesel when i am judging performance. Years in the dyno room spinning them up after building them has engrained some habits
-Manifold Pressure
-Pyro (EGT)
-Fuel Pressure
-Fuel filter restriction/delta

I don't want to junk up the cab of my truck. Just want a simple way to get these, if I can.

1200 on the pyro seems crazy  I have built some hot rods that would run that, full load, but I knew they would be back next year for new kits

When I was an apprentice, one of the sayings my favorite journeyman always screamed at me was "999 is fine, but at 4 digits your mine!" trying to get me to tune engines keeping them under 1000 degrees on the pyro

I agree about not wanting to junk up the interior. That's what's kept me from buying one of these yet. The grab handle on the 15/16s makes it hard to do a clean mount over there. Ideally, I think I'd like the screen to be just above the brake controller over there. One really clean mount for the CTS2 is available from proformance diesel, but I'm not sure I want it down that low:

I just found that there is apparently there is a smaller "Insight CS" that doesn't display as many parameters at once. I need to look at that and see if if can be mounted subtly.

Insight parameters for LML:

Engine Load
Engine Coolant Temp
Engine RPM
Intake Air Temp
Mass Air Flow
Fuel Level Remaining
Barometric Pressure
Battery Voltage
Ambient Air Temp
Accel Pedal Position
Desired Idle RPM
Engine Oil Pressure

This is the Scan Gauge II in my Cruze diesel. You can see the MAP on the lower left and EGT1 on the right. It has 3 EGT sensors. Not sure where they are located.

You might want to contact Scan Gauge and see what they can do for you. I know they specifically programed my gauge for the Cruze as a group buy on the Cruze forum. I can also check DEF level, Number or regens, miles since last regen and a bunch of other stuff. I usually keep it on transmission temp but I'm going to leave it on EG1 for now.

Also right before it goes into regen, the MAP drops below 14 and stays below that some during regen. Kind of like it isn't letting any boost during the regen process.

It also started a regen just as I was getting home and so when I got in the driveway. I sat there in park with the rpms at 2k until it completed.

Engines designed for VGT's/regens handle more heat... 1200 degrees used to be the maximum safe temp for big rigs...
Dennis, does anybody cut out the DPF, and just stick a muffler there? Can't seem to find that as a specific part, so it must just be a universal 4", and some band clamps.
I used a piece of flex pipe from the cat to DPF on mine for a few months... The piping isn't 4" all the way... It's 3" out of the cat, and 4" DPF out. With some possible 2.5" in front of the cat... Not counting the down pipe.

Get something with a resonator for a muffler... The Aero Turbine 5050XL cut out almost all the jet engine noise from my Fast Idle, lol.

The VGT definitely sounds horrible, lol. Waiting for a decent deal on the muffler, lol.
