aint mine, just a net picture, I hear, you can spray it with simple green and high pressure hose it to get it clean, never did thou, I just emailed gm parts direct to inquire about this, I have been teetering on the idea about adding one in my truck, so this is some motivation!

My issue is that I have too many things that I need to fit under the hood. I have an air compressor for my air ride helper springs, the dual battery and the K & N. The K & N is already in. In my last truck, I had the air compressor mounted in the area that you have circled in the picture, but I think that would be easier to mount some place else.

My only other issue is the weather. It has been cold and crappy the last couple of weekends so I have not been able to work on my truck.

If you look there is a hole in the middle. It could be were a tray could be bolted. I took that pic awhile ago but was under the hood the day I read this thread .

I didn't bother to take a tape to my battery and this space though. With people doing it all ready i guess it would be a small battery similar to factory.

If so I know what I can do with mine when I get an Optima.

could put it in the bed like i did:dunno:

seems like it would be fairly simple to put it in there. measure the space, get a tray the same dimension and a battery the same size and wah-lah
