Drive shaft spacer needed?

it will be close on needing one or not.

I know alot of vehicles going any more than 8 inches of lift need a custom driveshaft or the transfer case clocked.


EDIT!!! I see its a 2wd.


Ill look around for any issue you might run into.

Only way to know for sure is to install the lift... and then install the front driveshaft.. then we can go from there!!

Haha it's a 2wd no front shaft.

And Jarett rcd makes some but they're expensive. I wouldn't worry about them till you have gears and sc on it.

I don't seem to recall Bert or lightning expo needing a longer shaft

^ya i talked some to lightn and im waiting for gatorcrew to PM me back.

and you say s/c and gears...well shoot i should have it all and a locker too by x-mas...

ya i get crap for being only a 2wd, but 4wd would get me into a whole lot more trouble than i need to be hahaha thanks for lookin :cheers:

01f1502wd, are those 35's on your truck in your sig? you have a 5 1/2 inch lift correct?

oh alright, haha do you have any idea what backspacing he is running? im about to get the same size lift and I have a set of 35 inch toyo open country m/t's sitting in my barn. probobly wouldnt hurt to get a 2 inch body lift as well...

Don't do a 2" but do a 3". Fits much better and with that you'll be fine.

His wheels are oem 18" lightning wheels with spacers so the wheels have quite a bit of bs (don't remember exact)
