Check the speaker wiring, especially in the door jamb. I had a similar problem with my driver door speaker not working, replaced with JL component speakers, when I went to see how my new speakers sounded got nothing. The wiring had broken inside the rubber boot in the jamb. Had to run a new wire and all was good.

yeah i agree about the quality thing. what i did with my gears and such. but when you really dont have a lot of money to play with and either need something because its busted or need to change something out, sometimes thats when the cheaper line comes into play.

Oh I 1,000% agree on $$ and it being tight. That's why so many of my upgrades are prioritized and fall in order of "need" and "want".

If it's completely broke, you do with what you can afford.
