sure id like some focal's or some polk's but regardless im not gona get an amp or sound deadoning. really was looking for something that i can get away with cheap for now before i upgrade down the line.

but i did find a set of polk db651's for 60 bucks...hmm

but right now TBO with school and work and being away from my dad who would help me until at least thanksgiving if not christmas time, i really dont have anyone to help me so i would probably just go to bestbuy and have them install something. would save me a lot of time and hassle.

Although I don't own a Chevy... I know it was Extremely easy to replace speakers in my truck... I would only imagine it would be same for yours.

Don't waste your time and money on having Best Buy or another store install. You will save money buying online and its generally easy to swap out. I think it took me about an hour 1/2 to do all 4 of mine. Plus 3 beers

we have a audio sponsor?

i think id have to pull the whole door panel off and if im right the tweeters in the a-pillar are connected to the door speakers. im sure i can just splice and reconnect them to the new speakers though. i was looking around for a build thread on an nnbs but really all people ive seen just do subs.

Well driving to school today it works lol. Maybe a loose wire or something. If it keeps acting up maybe ill wait until I can afford something with decent quality like polk or focal.

Funny how that worked out.:) It's always best to hold out (if you can) for something quality.IMHO:thumbs:

I always feel if you cheap out you just wasted(Even if it's $50) money towards an upgrade. Just my .02:dunno:

yeah i agree about the quality thing. what i did with my gears and such. but when you really dont have a lot of money to play with and either need something because its busted or need to change something out, sometimes thats when the cheaper line comes into play.
