Thread update, went with a 2 into 1 exhaust on the bike and a new air cleaner. Removed the screamin eagle factor air cleaner. So much badging on these Harley's.

Talk about power increase! I need to get it on the dyno as I have rejetted the carb. it used to run rich but now it runs pretty clean.

Gonna need some suggestions on replacing the seat, next!

Here are some photos!

We went for a trip last July, and she had a bad case of monkey muffin LOL

Go with the beads. Gel cooks in the sun, gets hot as hell, and doesn't help airflow very much. You also still end up with only a couple pressure points taking your body's weight...the beads give you lots of small pressure points. I can't recommend them strongly enough!

Whatever seat you get, if you're going to do long rides, check out: bead rider. you can laugh at me all you want, but I promise I'll still be going strong, hours after you're getting off your bike and limping away :)

No laughing from me (or the wife) She won't go another mile with me, without something. We have been looking at those gel toppers

I did a 5 hour trip with one stop for gas on Thanksgiving and I was fine with my seat. If you were on 77 or 85, you may have seen me with my legs stretched out over my crash bar but my ass was fine. That has me wondering if I should just get my seat custom recovered. The only bad thing about having it recovered is my bike will be out of commission and I ride it about every day!

Looking for some new hand grips too, mine are shot!

What bars did you go with? I picked up a 93 Intruder 800 for $500 (didn't move for 7 years) and really need to change the bars....

I need new bars for my Shadow... Unfortunately, I need all new controls to go with them... But I might also look at a motor swap... So many things to do.

Well, a Sportster with a crash bar to stretch on is bit more comfy than my Dyna, even for a fogey...:D

I would say these are more life cafe riding bars. I would really like mini apes or a nice drag bar but I couldn't say no to these for $30...
