Did my ball joints today

well finally had a day where i could get them done, got the harbor freight ball joint tool, and it worked just fine, although i had to make 2 extra spacers since theirs wouldnt fit on my control arms. anyways i got it all taken apart and looked like this

then looking at the ball joint, i noticed it looked a bit off centered

so i ripped off the rest of the boot and found this!

anyways replaced the lowers with moogs and the upper control arms with doorman, couldnt justify the price of moog

also replaced the rear shocks which were way overdue and now everything is nice and smooth, just need an alignment

next is a new a/c compressor....hopefully before it reaches 110* those things are just way too expensive, then have to have it filled up, or get a kit to do it myself

forgot to mention, this was after 166,784 miles and i would say about half of that was driven with a bad alignment
