The drain plug is a rubber tube on my outer fire wall also maybe it's the heater core that's leaking I sure hope not.

i had that problem in my old tacoma. it turned out the back side window wasn't quiet closed all the way and water leaked through. i had to buy a new latch. i also know sometimes my grandads does that when the ac runs but it's to cold for ac guess the same could go for the heater :dunno:

My Tahoe windshield seal was leaking when I noticed water under there.

Couple things....the windshield is new and we urethaned the shut out if that thing.

It's only on the drivers side

There's two layers of dynamat under the carpet

The rear glass I have noticed leaks on the drivers side, but the rear floorboard is never wet.

Plus my 86 does it too, with the same floor mats. I never get water in the truck with my feet....

Cool, I am glad it's not a leak. I had to pull up the carpet to dry things out.

I have the same problem only the cab floor is wet under the carpet, but I guess my truck (Silverado) has this as a common problem.

I have rubber mats also. I've just not gave it any thought as to dampness below them. :dunno:

All mats have rubber on them. Factory ones just have carpeting on them with a rubber backing to keep the water from going through. I don't know how fully rubber ones would be any different from how factory ones act. :dunno:
