Yeah... I really don't think you can go wrong with either tuner... It's just a matter of preference. You can also get the SCT Livewire (I think) that has gauges as well.

My buddy has the live wire extreme for his 08 6.4 powerstroke, and boy did it make a huge difference in so many ways. The only grip I have with it is that darn wheel is a bit of a pita, but once you get it set up you really don't move it. But I will say, he has contacted SCT several times, and they have great customer service.

Personally, I would LOVE a dyno tune... But all the good tuners are WAY south of me. I'm not even sure I know where a Dyno is around here.

I would go with the gryphon from php. I got my edge really cheap and I'm thinking about sending it in and getting custom tunes.

I had my custom tune emailed to me today from PHP...less than a week I might add, however im still waiting to get the gryphon in the mail from them.
