Shit Rob, she's trail ready man. Looks awesome congrats.

thanks J-rod! she's not quite trail ready- I need to put steeper gears and lockers in, and armor up the underside a little more. I need to get longer shocks in the front and Johnny joints in the control arms- possibly replace the uppers as well- because the combination of straight Prothane bushings and short shocks is limiting my front flex. but she's getting there. Oh, need rocker protection. Possibly JCROffroad.

replaced my headlights with Silverstars- hasnt been dark enough to fiddle with the aiming or see how bright they actually are but i'll aim them once it is. also bought a tranny cooler- also plan on getting a cooler for the power steering and oil, possibly get the PS pump from a 99-04 v8 grand cherokee too.

:D2 thanks guys! i'm going to be doing some... not-so-minor fun stuff tomorrow to it, I'll make sure to post up pics.

PS the dumbf*** at Autozone gave me a relay that pinned out correctly for my bumper foglights... but failed to mention that if I used it, i a) couldnt return a 14 doll hair relay, and b) would have a pair of 100-watt, Silverstar H3-bulbed FLASHING foglights.

on the oher hand, woe to the person who cuts me off or doesnt turn off their brights... :jester:

Made my roof rack today out of an aluminum pallet I got from the Bayer plant in Milford years ago when it closed... $9 worth of primer and $2 of flat black, and I have myself a roof rack! the thing is more heavily rated than the roof bars themselves- 900 pounds compared to 385. It's diesel!

just field tested the rack- helped a buddy bring home all his stuff from his dorm, and it took one trip for stuff that would have taken him and his ranger at least two, maybe three. 600 pounds on the rack and it didn't budge.
