finished off the kerf folds in the rear a little tighter, filled in the edge with some JB weld, plan on sanding down and repainting the bedliner tomorrow. also finished the edges on my front fenders, plan on using some window edging on both front and rear fender wells to clean up the look. once i find it in plain black, and not chrome...:frustration:

not that i hate chrome... but it's bound to be ripped off, bent, embedded in random objects of the damaging nature... plus chrome wouldnt blend in with the bedliner

The To-Do list as it stands...

Rockers: I need some sliders... have a few in mind

Bumpers: JCR Offroad makes some sick bumpers that I'm looking at. simple, effective, and bulletproof.

Doors: are coming off. Tube doors? possible. need to find a way to relocate and/or add door speakers. sound bar above the front seats a la Wrangler?

On-board Air: I air down to 8-10 psi when I'm wheeling, so I need some method of refilling them that doesnt involve a bicycle pump (yes, I've done it). I have a pair of Scott-bottles lying around... I may fabricate up a regulator and use those. Possibly convert A/C compressor to fill them... (seen it done, it works)

Winch: I don't like the look of a hard-mounted winch. Plus, you're SOL if there's no solid point in front of you. I'm going to make some form of 2" reciever plate for a winch and use that, i have a hidden 2" reciever up front that I'm currently working on.

Lockers: MUST MUST MUST have lockers. Aussie, front and rear.

Gears: must go to 4.56.

Front Axle: will get a supporting truss.

Steering: eventually putting the steering from a V-8 ZJ Grand Cherokee. half an inch thicker on the tubing, stronger Johnnie Joints. Skyjacker dual stabilizer. Adjustable track bar to recenter my front axle (it's shifted left a quarter of an inch).

Transfer Case: slip yoke eliminator. takes all slip out of the case and moves it to the driveshaft. front driveshafts will now fit in the rear. also means i only need one spare shaft on trips.

Suspension: Edelbrock remote reservoir shocks all around, set up for droop and bumpstopped accordingly, long-arm conversion in front, possibly an additional half inch of lift to accomodate 35's.

Brakes: maybe, but probably not, disc conversion in the rear. extend brake lines front and rear.

Interior: gut the carpet, POR interior, repaint with Line-X and replace carpet. Replace front seats with seats from 89-92 Cherokee Laredo for the separate headrest. 4-point harnesses in front. hard-mount subwoofer. Add another Maglight mounting point and move first aid kit to easy access.

Roof: fab up a roof rack with space for recovery tools and a Hi-Lift.

That's all i can think of right now.

just finished swapping out front bumpers- got this one free from a fellow Jeeper for helping him put on a budget boost on his DD. He cut it to fit a Detours Offroad Backbone system, which i've been looking at putting on the nose of my Jeep- essentially a front unibody stiffener with space to mount a winch and some D-rings. I'll post up some pics as soon as I have my camera back.

The Accel decal I actually don't mind, a lot of the ignition/electrical parts under the hood are Accel. The green Bungee is holding my disconnected swaybar out of the way, I was flex testing to see if the bumper ends would rub- they dont! No guarantee on that, though, if i move to 35's.
