Heck yea I am a country boy but I have flip flops too and never owned Cowboy hats or boots. Just live in the country and love it!!!

Living in the country does not make you a country boy, Brian. :nono:

Unless you've had an argument with your girlfriend about what brand of chew is better, you aren't a true country boy. :jester:

Oh godammit....:(

My home town has 1 stop light, well 2 now...I live about 5 minutes from there now. The Air Force Material Command is close, along with other sections of the base (wright patterson air force base) which are scattered around. If I had to break it up it would be 42% country, 42% suburbs, 16% Dayton city limits...which is a dying urinal and can thank itself for failing.

OK,I'm gonna date my self, but you guys know I'm an old fart anyway.. in the '50s I lived in a small town NW from Seattle. We had a small farm,maybe10 acres, down the road 5 miles my grandparents had 27 acres.Of that 27 about 1/2 was wooded, mainly fir & a few cedar trees.I can remember going up into the woods with my dad and grampa to cut down a tree, cut it into 18'' blocks then load my grampa's '55 dodge p/u,bring it down to the house then split it with a wedge and splitting mall, fun to a young boy.

We always grew our own veggies, had our owns cows for fresh milk, our own hens for eggs,a pig occassionaly and 10-12 cattle for fresh meat.We lived quite well back then.

Then my dad lost his job at Keyport(I thnk it was a Naval weapons station) and got a job in Seattle.Talk about a country boy lost in the city,I hated it.Now I live in a rural area north from L.A....still love the country,it's different country here but country none the less.

I live in a neighborhood that doesn't allow dirt or mud. You could walk three blocks in any direction after a big rain and not find mud! I love it!

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
 Farm Boy here!

Des Moines is too big of a city for me. :uhoh: Can't wait to move somewhere with some elbow room.

We just spent the last week in Orlando. Definitely too big for my tastes.
