Could Toyota make an uglier car?

And you have to give it all you've got just to create a plain mainstream sedan that gets 5% edgier each time, sort of like that pudgy middle-aged dad at your sons t-ball practice that wears all the UnderArmour but has never had the actual need for sweat wicking except for that one time Golden Corral told him they were out of Prime Rib and he almost blew a gasket."

I thought they were going after the Lexus look with that wonky lower grille opening. IMO the current Camry looks the best they've ever looked, and that's not saying a whole lot. But now they went and screwed that up...

That was the first thing that came thru my mind when I saw the new Camry pics

Altough in America the Camry is kinda bread-and-butter, in other markets a car at its size is considered luxury, but Toyota has no excuse to make an uglier Camry for America. Let's take the example from Volkswagen: even though they did a different Passat, it's not uglier than its Euro equivalent. Why couldn't Toyota do so instead of making the Camry look like a 3rd-world POS?

I don't think Toyota knows how to create a car without it being ugly...


Wait, maybe they didn't make the Sequoia's after all.

I guess some of them were alright looking.
