I saw that over at Jalopnik, it's hideous and it looks like they didn't even touch the already shitty interior, and that black plastic they put behind the back door screams cheap afterthought. I'm not looking forward to sharing the road with them.

The XLE version is probably worse:

I feel Toyota is at a place today that GM and Ford were in the 70s and 80s where they just don't give a damn because they know the sheeple will buy their cars because of their reputation. I honestly don't know why anyone would buy a Camry or Corolla over the competition.

Interns cost far less than seasoned designers, obviously. What a shame. Not that the Camry has ever really been the most stylish vehicle, but at least they used to just blend in and disappear.

I swear if you removed the badges and painted all cars in this class matte black, they would all look identical.

Why does the grill have to be so flippin' huge on these new cars (all mfrs)? It doesn't have a fricken diesel in it for God's sake.

He then went on to produce what many say are some of the most beautiful classic designs ever built.

Apparently modern day designers forgot that.
