V-band clamps /thread

:frustration:

Although, nice, those won't work. Same concept as the ones I had. The issue is the outer tube doesn't compress enough to tighten on the inner tube.
Some different flanges would probably have to be added to your existing pipe but using these would let you be able to take it all apart if you wanted to instead of having to weld it all up.

Make some relief cuts in the outer flange so it will clamp down on the inner pipe. :dunno:

Wait, so you guys all have your exhaust permanently welded on? Eh, that's not an option, cause I like to remove mine from time to time to respray it. If it were welded it would need to be cut off.

I think these preformed clamps will work perfectly since they are bolted to both ends of the exhaust piping.

I just sprayed them flat BBQ black to match the rest of the exhaust. :D

these came on my MBRP exhaust standard which was half the price of yours:pfingers:

but looks good i should probably do the same to a lot of my undercarriage.

No, I hate how that looks lol.

It'll be under your truck, covered with a clamp and BLACK. No one will see it.

Don't matter, I know the cut will be there. :D

I would be dangerous with that tig welder.
