Finally got around to hooking up my painted exhaust, the clamps worked great. The whole exhaust feels much more solid, no rattles at all.
Only issue is, which makes NO SENSE TO ME, the BBQ paint on the back third of the exhaust after the muffler and close to the 5" tip is bubbling up. I used 1,000 degree BBQ paint, so not sure why the hell it would bubble up there, especially since that's the coolest part of the whole exhaust yet be ok on the rest of it. Maybe I sprayed it on too thick around the tip? Once I remove that section and dump the exhaust I'll have to sand it down and maybe use a different brand of paint. It's almost like a few of the cans I used were labeled wrong or something.
