I want to go to Cleghorn in the San Bernadino Mountains of CA. because I've heard allot of positive things

But after watching the videos on youtube of jeeps barely squeezing by some of the trails i started to rethink i trip out there. (im hoping those were just side trails)

I have a Full size 4 door dodge ram with 13.5 tires and 2 inch wheel spacers.
Also, i scrape fairly easy due to the larger 37" tires.

I guess i just want to know if my truck would be to wide for the trail there?

i want more of a challenge then a fire road, but not something so gnarly that there's a good chance of body damage. My truck is my daily driver/my baby and i dont have cash to put into body work.

Thanks guys!

Makes sense to me. I like offroading but I never wanted to come home with intentional battle scars. A lot of Jeep guys think battle scars are a thing of beauty... No thanks.

Maybe somebody here knows more about the California trails. I know we have a few who use trails out there.

If i had another vehicle dedicated to off road use only (or mostly) i could see how the dents and scratches would be a sort of badge of offroad honer,

but this is my only truck.

Yeah I like naps :jester:

Never been on Cleghorn,Googled it and see it runs from Lake Silverwood toward the Cajon Pass...seems like a decent fireroad with some gnarly side roads. Also checked out on YT and see a lot of Jeepers use it.I doubt I'd want to get in a situation where I'd damage my Burb but would try a side road that looked like fun.But as always never go alone,be sure to bring another truck...and this time of year bring lots of water
