Well kind of!
My door molding on my 2006 Silverado had finally gotten to the point of being ugly. The Texas sun had baked it so much that it was turning black and nothing in my arsenal would bring it back.
So I broke out the fishing line, razor blade scraper, 3M Stripe Off Wheel, Adhesive Remover and went to town. Used the fishing line to cut the adhesive until I could start to bend back the molding. Then a sliced the adhesive tape with the razor blade scraper, removed the excess with the stripe off wheel.
Used the adhesive remover to get the little globs of goo off. Polished the doors and applied some Adam's Quick Sealant and Buttery Wax.
( In the shade)
Molding removed.
Stripe Off Wheel, doing work. If you haven't used one of these, you have no idea what you're missing. Well worth the money if you are removing molding or badges.
Time to clean up the residue and polish it out.
All set.
Wheel well moldings will be next as I get time to remove them.
